Gilas Landgasthof in Friedrichskoog

Went to eat at gila's landgasthof on October 24th with a larger group. Welcome by the landlady warmly and directly, corona protective measures were meticulously adhered to, which makes sense. Whoever runs a restaurant in the Dithmarscher Pampa has to be good, Gila's Landgasthof is better. All dishes are made only from fresh ingredients and you can taste that. Great taste, portions that even the hungry rural population almost surrendered. rustic decor of the local and attentive service, it doesn't get any better than that👍 The landlady has her heart in the right place and you can call her the original dithmarscher, so the fine city dweller is certainly a bit irritated at first, but we liked it so much that we can already say: WE WILL BE BACK

The best cabbage rolls far and wide 😊 And I don't understand the partly negative reviews before. It is your own fault if you cannot cope with Gila’s dry, north German, but still warm humor!

Great food! The landlady's bitter charm is extremely personable. A visit is highly recommended - as is taking away the homemade cookies.

We tried to make a reservation by phone around 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Since no one answered, we did it through their own homepage. Since we made a reservation at 5 p.m. we were there on time. We would be asked if we had made a reservation, so I told her yes on her homepage. There was only a dull one, I didn't look, we don't have a table and if nobody answers, the table is free. Not even an apology came.

For our guests in the Deichoase Piratenhaus it is practically a stone's throw and for our guests in the Deichoase Strandhaus it is a worthwhile 10 minute drive. And I keep hearing from our guests: "It was delicious!" ... "Honest food, down to earth and plentiful!" ... "This is how eating out is fun!" The only drawback: no dog allowed in the restaurant. But that also guarantees stress-free enjoyment and a while for the dogs to rest at home or in the car. The owner is as rustic as the restaurant. With her bitter Dithmarsch charm, Gila often really knows how to make you happy, but sometimes her friendliness is enough humor. Anyone who has worked responsibly in gastronomy will understand that. She is a treasure in her heart! And she is a specialist - not a career changer like so many. And you can taste it! We are also very happy to do so. Tonight for example ... Let's meet?

Great food, went straight back the next day .. And everyone who says the food is average, they have no idea. Keep it up and when we are around again, we will definitely come back.

As a Swabian, I probably didn't understand Gilas' humor correctly. But that's not what it is about! The food is phenomenal. Fresh, plentiful and of high quality at a fair price. I also liked the little parting present for the children. I will gladly come again.

We came across the restaurant by chance and were thrilled from the start, both with the fish and meat dishes. We didn't find anywhere near a good restaurant in the vicinity of our hotel and so we had to travel 40 kilometers several times. We can recommend the restaurant without reservation, although we don't want to miss the landlady's brittle charm.

Always very happy. The food tastes great. The landlady has a bitter charm, but also has a lot of humor. It's great that you can choose the size of the portion for a lot of dishes.

Very friendly and rustic restaurant with fresh German cuisine and delicious fish dishes at fair prices. But there is also something for meat lovers or vegetarians here. The owner is super funny and exudes typical coastal charm. Always worth a visit.

Found by chance in Google Maps because we were very hungry. The food was really great. (The hostess knows that too, because it's big on the house!) Really delicious, the hostess with a lot of humor. Anyone who eats there should definitely take humor, because typically Northern German is more than enough. Price / performance absolutely fine. Attention to Covid19 best tel. reserve and definitely take cash with you. Card payment in the restaurant is not possible and the reason is completely plausible. :-)
